ROBBED BUT NOT BROKEN
Have
you been robbed? What has been taken away from you? What have you lost to
someone or something that makes you dry as a bone still you pretend to be happy
even when you try to sort the situation, you just won’t cry, shouting is off
the charts and going angry is not an option your feelings become dumb to the
issue but deep down you know you not fine irrespective of what your facial
expression tells, Verveardor hopes to walk through this with anyone who gives a
hand lets walk together.
Just
last week I was in a public transport only to alight to the reality that I have
been pocket picked loosing the only picture I had left of my granny which was
in my wallet, frustration clouded my heart, confused I was proceeding became a problem
as anger or should I say pain piloted my feelings somehow I managed to get hold
of myself to push forward even though I was hit at a very vital point.
Now
that’s me, I don’t know what you have been robbed of it might be your car,
house, job, food, money, pet or even your lover and I know it hurts it really
does but let’s take an example from water, say; water drowned your family leaving
you to progress without the true love of a family in that pain and anger you
are still going to drink water, bath with it and do a whole lot of stuff with
water even without thinking or putting blame on it for our loss. Now let’s
bring that into our lives excluding the belief that most people have which
entails that
“Those who rob me are never going to be
better than me as they have taking a whole junk of my pain into their lives”
that’s
a good belief I think I don’t have a problem with that or those who believe so
as a matter of fact I congratulate them as it promotes peace by taking the zeal
of revenge from their hearts and give the will to move on.
On
the other hand they are those who don’t know or believe such, have you ever
wonder how they cope, let’s not be selfish by saying I haven’t thought about
myself talk less of thinking about someone
else . Stop! Take a deep breath and let’s be our brother’s keeper, most of us
might have lost our partner to a stranger, a friend family, death and more was watching
a documentary some time age where two police officer as a unit were on patrol
and suddenly bullets flew the sky it all happened so fast one of them was hit
before the arrival of medic, gave up the ghost … seeing the tears on the eyes
of his partner sent a shock down my spine I saw and felt his pain so intense
this is his jobs partner think of the love that existed between them the bond I
believe was greater than friendship their motive just and true I understood
this I call the power of love some see it as weakness but No! It’s not but
rather its great strength but how we channel it defines who we are.
Back
to the matter, our story here shows a situation that has driven two friends apart
I have seen the pain in it now what’s yours how have you escaped brokenness how
did you overcome your pain or are you still living in it? Are there pains that we
cannot overcome? Do you still cry when you think about it, when would this be
over if it can be over and smiles would never leave our faces but how possible
is this?
I
believe it’s possible, I believe we can channel our energy towards a just cause
for we have all been robed in one way or the other but still we are not broken
for we are stronger than we think.
I
might have been robbed but not crumbled, I might have been weakened but not
broken I can and I will believe in myself irrespective of the situation we at
Verveardor also believe in you in your capabilities seeing your dream come
true we hold on to but first help us by believing in yourself, that’s where the
real strength comes from the driving will in us can be found if we believe in
our selves while working towards our goals.
Thank
You.
