As we promised here is the second
part of (perseverance as little things matters a lot) just in case you
missed the first part, visit Verveardor To see the other half now down to top
notch.
She requested her name and
details be private so we would be narrating the story as a third person we hope
you don’t mind.
She grew up in the streets living
her ghetto life, at a very young age watching her parents build and groom
squads as they call themselves doing drugs, alcohol and all kind of stuff you
can think off I think I would call that care free living and there was no one
that could do a thing about it as she said even their local police and vigilante
where part of this, this made her see life the way they presented it and joined
them living it that way just s they served it being that was how it needed to
be done even at a very young age. She turned a bully in school oppressing other
kids and doing away with whatever valuable they have ranging from money, food,
snacks and what you can imagine as she aged she went deeper into how she felt
its supposed to be done, came in terms with drinking, smoking, using hard drugs
as these items where at her grasp since it was the way of life for her parents
she didn’t have a hassle getting any of them soon it all worsened, she dropped
out of school, sold herself into the streets, violated her body and was
gradually growing into An Addict.
On
a faithful morning she woke up in a hospital screaming like she was at war with
someone or something after which she
later calmed down and a series of test was ran on her but scary enough she
failed every possible drug test you can think of, she was later sent to a Drug
Treatment Programme which she soon passed believing she had control over her
drug use but it was all to no avail as no sooner than anyone expected she
became worse than she was ever before and this time around she is having
seizures, hallucinating and screaming .
The psychiatrists came for her
and now she is presently in a sober home doing a programme do she is showing
some forms of normality than how she was when she first arrived.
I have l felt really touched hearing her story
and all she asked of me was to pray for her, this I promised her I would I plead
with you all to pray for her even though you don’t know her but you can still
pray please let us all pray and don’t just pray for her pray for each and
everyone going through a hard time, trying to get hold of themselves, see life
the wrong way not that we are perfect but we are also humans, those trying to
turn a new leaf and those seeking a better day. I pray for us all and believe
we shall find joy and joy everlasting but please pray any way you see it fit
just pray and keep praying.
This story gave me motive to work
on my next post titled DRUG ABUSE AND ITS ADVERSE EFFECT IN OUR SOCIETY we
shall all get to see it soon as I am working on it.
One love all remember to always
be thankful to God for everything and pray not just for yourself but your
